The Neighbourhood Forum
The Forum meets every three months and aims to give residents an opportunity to discuss and have a say on the issues that affect the local community. The meeting will be attended by your three local ward Councillors and officers from a variety of local service providers.
This forum meetings will focus on making Oakwood Safer and improving Highways and Transport in Oakwood with an opportunity for questions
Making Oakwood safer – Derbyshire PoliceThe Neighbourhood Team will providean update on activities in Oakwood including Operation Relentless -safe and confident.
You will also be able to discuss and agree the Oakwood Safer Neighbourhood Team Policingpriorities for Oakwood for the next
3 months. There will also be an opportunity to learn moreabout the role of the Anti Social Behaviour officer who covers Oakwood
Highways and Transport in OakwoodThere will be an opportunity to learn more aboutproposals for some small scale Highway and transport improvements aiming to make
Oakwood safer and more accessible especially for pedestrians. There will also be a chance to help identify some of the key Highways and Transport problems experienced in Oakwood.As always you will have the opportunity to find out what is happening in Oakwood, meet otherpeople who care about the Oakwood neighbourhood and raise your views and concernsThis document also includes: a copy of the agenda, ‘You said we did’ from the last meeting, an update on Board funding, some information about planned highways improvements, the new Derby Direct phone number, Youth Offender Panels, the new Children’s Centre at park View Primary School and health services in the Health Bulletin from NHS Derby City.
