Woodspring Badminton Group
A new badminton group has been formed in Derby and is seeking players to join it.
Woodspring Badminton Group has been set up to cater for people who want to play the sport socially, as opposed to league competition.
It meets at Lees Brook Community Sports College, Morley Road, Chaddesden, on Fridays between 7-9pm. Therefore the group will be particularly beneficial to people from Chaddesden Oakwood and Spondon area
One of the organisers, Neal Bannister, said: “The game is so popular that it is often difficult for people to book courts at leisure centres, so we have hired a hall which has five courts. “Players of different standards are welcome.”
